By Nathan Hain

I recommend the Infinity Speaker Systems to everyone who wants a high quality audio equipment. After you read this brief review about the Infinity products, you will be able to make a wise buying decision in connection with speakers.

Infinity is an American company that was established in 1968. It has originated the science of sound. It manufactures premium quality loudspeakers for home audio, car audio and marine audio systems.

The Harman International Industries incorporated Infinity in 1983. Nowadays Harman is the parent company of 5 world-renowned brands: Harman Kardon, Infinity Systems, Mark Levinson, JBL and AKG.

The Infinity Speaker Systems are the standards in the sound industry - other audio systems are measured to them.

Sleek and elegant design is the basic characteristic of every Infinity Speaker. But no one will be convinced only by the beautiful packaging - it's okay. However, I am sure that all of you will be fond of the Infinity Speakers when you hear the warm and rich sound that they offer.

6 different types of Infinity Speakers are available for home today: Outdoor speakers, Subwoofers, Floor standing, In wall/ In ceiling, Bookshelf and Center speakers.

The Primus 363 and the Primus 253 are the 2 types of Floor speakers. They have magnetic shield and black wood-grain finish. A special material makes them unique: the Metal Matrix Diaphragm (MMD) that is stiffer than normal metals - this is why sound goes faster through it.

The Primus 253 is a two-way, the Primus 363 is a three-way speaker - they ensure that each kind of music will be natural and clear. The Primus 253 has dual 5-1/4 inch low-frequency drivers and a 3/4 inch high frequency driver. The Primus 363 has dual 6.5 inch low-frequency drivers, a 4 inch midrange driver and a 3/4 inch high-frequency driver.

The Primus 163, 153 and 143 are the 3 available Bookshelf speakers. Their high-frequency drivers are the same: 3/4". They have various low-frequency drivers: 6-1/2" in the Primus 163, 5-1/4" in the Primus 153 and 4" in the Primus 143.

There are 2 eligible center-channel speakers: the Primus PC251 and the Primus PC351. The latter has a 3/4" high-frequency driver, dual 3" midrange drivers and dual 5-1/4" low-frequency drivers. The former has a 3/4" high-frequency driver and dual 133 mm low-frequency drivers.

The 3 sorts of Subwoofers: the Primus PS312, the Primus PS38 and the Primus PS410. The first one has single 12" low-frequency driver with 25-150 Hz frequency range, 400 watts RMS, 700 watts peak. The second one has single 8" low-frequency driver with 35-150 Hz frequency range, 150 watts RMS, 300 watts peak. The third one has single 10" low-frequency driver with 27-150 Hz frequency range, 300 watts RMS, 500 watts peak.

The Infinity Indoor/ Outdoor speaker is the Outrigger Junior that is a two-way, 60 watt waterproof speaker which features a 4" bass driver, 1/2" high-frequency driver, 80 Hz - 20 kHz frequency response.

You can choose from 2 series of the Infinity In-wall/ In-ceiling speakers: the ERS and the CS. I am sure that you will find the right one out of these Infinity Speakers to your home theather or music system.

The Infinity Speakers are one of the most popular speakers on the market today - they are premium products at affordable prices. You will not be disappointed if you invest in one of them.
