Only annoying thing is that since I bought it the price has been reduced $10, Very satisfied with this purchase. It works really well in the dry summer heat.
Only minor glitch is that the USB cable is too short! I bought a new one from Radio Shack and it's 4 feet long. After about three months it stopped working apparently the connection to the motor wasn't very good. I called the USA office and asked for a replacement and in just a couple days I had one shipped out and I only had to pay for shipping.
If you need to adjust it left and right, you have to shift the whole thing towards the direction you want. I use it nearly 10 hours every day and it hasn't broke down on me since these 3 months. For almost 50 bucks you would think it would last at least a year. I used this in Palm Springs, went to a family wedding outside at a park and all my family took it from me to use, My Aunt loved it so much I may purchase one for her for her birthday.
This is a quality product. So I bought this because I had read so many good things about it on the other reviews. A friend of mine at work had this fan and let me borrow it and I used it so much she got me one as a gift! I can't tell you how often I needed this. If I were you, try it first before forking out your hard-earned dollars. I would have returned this product had I bought it in a local store. And no, I have no interest of any kind in this company! I'm usually pretty cynical but got the impression these folks are trying to get it right. I think $30 would be a more reasonable price for what you get. I got this from my wife for Father's day. Not too bad for a hand held little unit! I bought this for my trip to Miami and I love it. The fan does its job, but like in the insert it is labeled, in humid weather it will not cool you down. The little breeze effect may help you to cool down.
It's a bit too cold now to use it, but since the last 3 months, this mini fan is fabulous I especially love using it when I am sun baking next to the pool because I want to tan but at the same time don't want to get incredibly and uncomfortably hot. I love to also put plenty of vanilla essence perfume into the filter so that it emits a really nice smell to freshen up my room, love it!
That said if you are trying to set it somewhere and cool a small area like a dog house or chicken coop it didn't work quite as well. First because it doesn't cool as well without the water and my chickens can't refill it LOL...I tried this in the coop because it's reached 110 degrees here recently in TX and we've had 26 days in a row over 100 degrees.

Individuals have talked about a smell coming from this stuff, however I have not observed anything yet like some ductless air conditioning review mentioned. From all the raving reviews, I would say the majority of the wall mounted air conditioning units do not have this issue, but it is brings into question how legitimate the QA assurance sticker is.
