The cost was very affordable. These lights are amazing! It only illuminates when I open up the front door at a distance of about ten feet. It has more "bulbs" that equally priced choices at a nearby big box building supply.
I got myself this solar lamp post 8 months ago and installed it on my front porch. It holds its own for twenty five bucks. Comes with an off/steady on/auto slider change at the back. For some time, I was searching for a way to illuminate the rather dark closet in my apartment. No mechanical issues with the two I used. I set one on the shelf at the end of the hall, and two on the deck stairs. Not worth the trouble to replace as the other porch lighting unit functions okay amd is sufficient. This lights is perfect for outdoor usage.
Thinking about getting two more for the other darkish recesses in our hallway. However it can look a little cumbersome.

The movement detector on one failed out of the box, but due to low cost of item it isn't really worth returning. I ordered a couple of these solar lamp posts and only one worked in the movement detection mode. Well, I'm looking to purchase more SE wireless Movement Sensor Light - 10 Super-Bright LED. Forget about tripping over things, forget about problems finding the keyhole. To date, so great.
Haven't had any issues with it filling with water which is not under an eave. The easy thing to this is, you simply put in the double batteries need and watch it work.

Additionally they are not extremely bright. Instantly activates when you approach leaving both hands free to unlock the doorway. retrofit recessed lighting. I personally use it in my driveway and for my yard. I wish the movement sensors were calibrated just right. solar fence lights.
