I feel like while compression socks are made for those who are athletic in mind, wrestlers can get the most use out of them. After all, you have to consider the litany of abilities that they have when they compete between the ropes. Not only do they have to be physically strong but having it down pat in terms of agility is a plus. The latter seems to be more important and due to the usage of leg power, the socks can be especially beneficial for people.
I think that wrestlers with high-risk move sets are going to be the ones who use compression socks the best. PRO Compression made these kinds of socks with foot fatigue in mind, knowing just how easily that can surface in people who are physically active. These kinds of athletes move at fast paces and those who cannot keep up will be the ones who are ultimately left behind. When talking about such wrestlers, which ones in particular come to mind?
I don't think there was a faster wrestler in the world, at least in the 90's, than Rey Mysterio; him being a candidate for these socks sounds like a given. While he isn't terribly quick-paced now, I think such a fact is inconsequential next to his level of history. In his prime, I think that these socks would have been especially useful for him. He'd be able to stay at the utmost shape while working with countless leg scissors and takedowns from the top rope, fatigue seemingly refusing to settle in.
In the slew of wrestlers who are contracted by World Wrestling Entertainment today, one may not have as much ability as Daniel Bryan. It's clear that he's a speedier wrestler but that's not the extent of his ability. In fact, I think that him being a fast-paced performer only helps to make him that much more sound in terms of submissions and other various locks. Bryan has to stay on the move as he competes, which is where I feel like these socks come into play.
Being athletic is something that is easier said than done, especially when you consider how fast people can grow tired during events. It doesn't even matter if it's wrestling or not but this particular field is especially fast-paced. No matter what style they may wrestle, they must stay on the offensive until the final bell sounds. Compression socks may not be thought of as a possible option but they can most certainly work in this line of work so that performance goes up.
