I've purchased these before and love them. Just be sure you permit a good cross breeze & ventilation. Noisy at higher levels: the vertical air conditioner might be subjective, however I discovered the sound at medium and high to be considerably irritating and 'airplane' like. Talk about awesome. Nicely, whoever packed mine in the factory wrapped the cord completely up in to the unit to exactly where it had been secured with screws.
They're sufficiently small to be removed for winter, too! Moves lots of air, fits your window nicely, looks attractive.
Fit in my little window and really works well with the hvac system prices. This really is built-in precaution into the system, so not be concerned. Extremely peaceful operation so will not disturb my rest. It isn't a continuing sound, but kind of pulsating and instead irritating compared to how peaceful it had been the very first few days.
I am certain this could cool a room double the size of mine. The remote is a plus exactly where other followers don't have.Would suggest investing the couple of extra bucks on this unit. Notice: I had been in a large box house store lately plus they had a comparable 6500 btu unit that I believe was cheaper than this 6000 btu unit. Fantastic air conditioner brands, buy with full confidence. The cooler comes with a good blower and it does function properly. No issues with water accumulation to date.
It cools my space in a few minutes, the one thing bad i'm able to say about this is it is noisy and the whole pipe thing occupies a lot of space. The thermostat is another nice touch. As some of the some other clients talked about, my fan arrived without the eight (8) required screws for securing the bottom to the fan. I believe the inclusion of the remote more than comprises for that though. I'm happy with the air conditioner tax credit. The thermometer may be the white plastic wire that's only connected to the circuit board on a single finish, not the spherical metal factor with a hole in the centre, that's the speaker.
Readily stored away near a wide open window and does very well. I'd enjoy having an option to turn it off.
