Does What It Says - Bollard Lighting Review

By Kayla Brown

Recommend.

We now have tried other lights and not had enough light to see inside, very happy to be able to get out there and not have to have a flashlight. I will just have to see how long the batteries last. I was skeptical in the beginning, but when I received the product I have been extremely impressed. The directions explain how you can do that and the hardware is supplied.

This protects battery life.

Also lets me know when individuals walk up to my back door and it helps me to locate my keys. There's lots of light just to walk and see at least a ten foot area.

Be certain that you're ready for this to happen, and visit the hardware store to buy higher quality wooden screws just before installation! I purchased a couple of these lights. You simply step about three steps on the deck and it comes on. The mounting was a breeze as I merely screwed the paver lights into the wooden beams and they do cover a nice range.

So far the Dorcy has performed just as described by the makers "Features."

The only real difference is the name on the base, however the Dorcy is $3-$4 less then the Mr Beam. Ordered two of these lights. I will buy a few more of these paver lights. I love it so much I will purchase a couple more to mount on the dark entry. My hubby loves to smoke there since if he tried smoking indoors he'd be limited to the garage. We use this under an awning so we can easily see someone at the door. The bedroom is all about seventy five feet from the rest of the home so I installed it within the pathway pointing towards the kitchen.

It really works amazing - extremely bright and illuminates the area great. The removable bollard light is effective. They're simple to set up, you don't need to hire an electrian, and only need batteries to use.

We have had rainy and windy weather the previous few weeks, and the light worked good.

They are fantastic little lights for the cost and work as advertised. Light is alright, can't compare to regular outdoor flood light. It's totally ineffective for this because of the intense sensitivity to light. Additional, they've been great for alerting us if anybody or anything enters our yard.

Range isn't as far as I would like on this bollard lighting, and in all likelihood not as far as it states, however it works for me.
