The Value Of Your Wardrobe

In each area of our life, we conduct business with folk, companies and industries with a consistent image. That explains why so much effort is placed on communicating consistency. It is called Brand selling and works as well for a product as it does for an individual.

Appraise your own personal image to determine if you are consistent in each area of your dressing. Make changes as required so that from casual out to formal you present a good impression each time. After you build your look, it is easy to add new items to your wardrobe. Your key when shopping is consistency with your established image.

An alternative way to think about this, is if you have a bowl of apples (your image preference) and you place an orange on top of the bowl you are instantly aware something is not the same. Use this same method as you are shopping for new items of clothing to add to your wardrobe. Is the new item a match, in our example above an apple, or a mismatch, as in our example above, an orange. With a small amount of practice adding items to your wardrobe will become so easy and fun. Be sure to take your BodyGram proportion tape with you when you go shopping.

Most people only wear 20 to 30% of their wardrobe. Having a working wardrobe rather than a hanging wardrobe will enable you more flexibility in the combination of outfits you have to select from at much less cost to you. If it doesn't fit correctly or you aren't capable of making multiple mixes with the things you are buying, the item you are trying to buy is not a good addition.

Using this approach to buying clothing will save you a large amount of money and it will enable you to only bring workable items into your wardrobe. It is also effective when deciding to replace items from your present wardrobe.

Consider 3 ways to wear the item to achieve 3 different looks. Permit yourself to have fun as you are determining new choices to wear your present attire. Then when shopping, you will have a better idea about what to add so the items already in your closet can get even more flexible and have a fresh new look.

Your aim is to extend the share of what you are wearing to a way higher number than the 20 to 30% the general public experience. Cleaning out your wardrobe or adding new items to your current wardrobe then will make you feel more in command of your wardrobe which significantly increases your wardrobes value.
