Landing Page Optimization Strategies

By Selina Torina

We all want our landing page to be the best it can be and convert like crazy, but it doesn't happen for the majority - why? Actually, there are many contributing factors for the success of any landing page. Never doubt your ability to turn your self into a landing page superstar, and we really mean that because it is not hard. If you are willing to learn, then continue reading on and find out where to start.

We have only discussed three aspects on gadgets in your web business, and to be sure there is much more to the story you need to learn on your own. One thing worthy of note is the difference in the attitudes business owners bring to the table. We have to speak in general terms, and with that we do believe that low-performing businesses will usually be run by those who do not have optimal attitudes that translate into behavior. Aside from that consideration, you will discover other attitudes including people with very high aspirations and the drive to reach them along with just average results businesses. So, do not be overly critical about your prospects for success, and instead look at what you have learned, here. It is our belief that we create our conditions after a certain point in life, and we can learn to make more informed decisions.

As with all your site pages, your landing page should never be a heavy file. This is really a very simple thing to prevent or fix if you have an issue with it. A good standard to use is roughly several seconds, and really three seconds is definitely pushing it. If you need to make it faster, then look at how many images you have and trim it down. You know the consequences of this issue with slow pages, and so it is just something that you must be mindful about with your designs.

When you are testing with various graphics, video and even audio buttons, be sure to do one thing at a time and use enough traffic to get good results. There are many different things that you can do with your landing page to get higher conversions, but adding an informative piece of audio or video will help you take it to the next level. The simple fact is that video is still very powerful and popular, and that is perhaps the main reason to consider using it. If you are not comfortable with making your own videos, then you can easily outsource that to someone who will do a good job of it. The kind of font size you use on your landing page plays a major role in your conversions because if your visitors are going to have a hard time understanding and reading your copy, then it's obvious that it will take a lot more effort to actually convince them to buy or opt-in, right? Small font sizes are never a recommended choice, so just experiment with your font style and see how it looks to you. Your landing page may otherwise convert just fine, but if things like the font are not optimal it could harm your conversions. Using the right kind of font makes a lot of difference in the long run when it comes to increasing the conversion rate.

It doesn't matter what you aim to achieve with your landing page - whether it is collecting leads, adding subscribers to your newsletter or selling a trial offer for a new weight loss product - you have to offer some kind of promise or guarantee to your prospects so that the risk is taken off their shoulders completely.

You need to make your prospects feel comfortable when they are taking the action that you want them to take. So make sure you're giving them the guarantee that they deserve to make the whole process more easy and predictable for them.

Reaching out to the pulse of your target audience and understanding what they want is the first step, the landing page helps you with the last step and that is taking action.
