What Travel Destinations Are Affordable?

By Orsen Taylor

Do you ever feel that you are overworked and not paid enough for your efforts? Do you need a vacation but can only afford something cheap? Put worries aside and pack your bag! Finding a cheap travel destination is easier than you think, as long as you follow these easy suggestions.

It is not too hard to find inexpensive travel destinations, but the ones we will be talking about are cheaper than the norm. And, amazingly, they are just as beautiful as other more expensive locations. Costa Rica is a very small country; in fact it is the second smallest country in South America. This fact alone allows you to visit the whole country in a short time.

No matter where you go there, you won't travel more than 10 hours by car. And, once you are finally in San Jose, the capitol, you can easily move around using a superb bus system.

Other attractions are the mountain views, the breathtaking sunset over the the beach, and even the roaring rivers. The best part is that you can see all of Costa Rica at no cost!

The Montverde cloud forest is another location you can visit for nearly nothing. Sleeping over is at no great cost, either. You can find hostels as cheap as $8 per night and hotel rooms as inexpensive as $15 per night in San Jose.

Margarita Island in Venezuela is another inexpensive destination, and the name should already tell you about some of its finest lures. You can buy a great Margarita at the same price of a soda. Speaking of drinks, a beer in beautiful Margarita Island generally goes for about $1.

Night life in Margarita Island is vibrant. Many of the discos feature Latin-Western music. Plenty of clubs there for you to dance and let yourself come alive.

Hostels are modestly priced here as well. They're not as cheap as Costa Rica, but they generally go as low at $13 a night. Food is incredibly inexpensive. A fresh seafood meal goes for around $7.00 and is delicious.

And, for those who crave sunshine, the sun is out 320 days out of the year in Margarita Island. With weather that beautiful, you will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy many outdoor activities such as tanning, horseback riding, scuba diving and fishing. And for those who enjoy buying local souvenirs, native markets are full of them!

Travel locations that are so inexpensive can allow the opportunity to have a dream vacation at a price you can afford. Nothing like enjoying a vacation that won't break the back. Enjoy your well-earned vacation!
