Swarovski Aurore Glasses

By Christian Hamilton

This is a short review on the Swarovski Aurore SK5010. Every girl has heard of Swarovski and their brilliantly-made crystals.

The company has been handed down from generations to generations since late 1800s. The art of crystal-cutting was handed down from generation to generation ensuring the constant existence of the family's heritage.

The Swarovski stones revolutionized the industry, providing new levels of brilliance, consistency and precision for all crystals.

The brand were able to import their crystal-cutting skills from jewellery into fashion eyewear. Some would say that the Swarovski Aurore SK5010 is as beautiful as the company's jewellery pieces; they sparkle just as bright.

The craftsmanship of the artisans can be seen in the frame's elegant design. The crystal detailing on the side temple are inlaid by hand. These frames are fully rimmed however as they are very thin, they feel extremely light and comfortable to wear.

There are three colour options for these frames; there is a silver and blue frame, just silver, or just gold. Most metal frames are usually made from stainless steel.

If you are allergic to some metal frames, it is recommended you go for a plastic frame or pick a metal frame that is non-allergenic i.e. titanium or carbon-fiber.

As these spectacles are quite thin, you may want to opt for a thin lens if you have a prescription higher than +/- 5.00 otherwise your lenses will stick out of the frame. Go for 1.6 index lenses or higher.

Don't forget that there's a wide range of lens choices for you to choose from when ordering spectacles. Why not add lens coatings to your optical glasses?

Photochromic lenses will darken when there is excessive light, and lighten when there is less light exposure to the eyes.

Marcolin are one of the world's leading manufacturers in the optical world. They are the official licensed producers and distributors for the brand's eyewear.
