Be the Envy of the Camp Ground with this 60's VW Campervan Tent

By Jeff Monson

Attention all Hippies! If you long for the times of harmony with nature and free love, take yourself back with this new product now available in the US! This full size replica Campervan VW Tent will most certainly make you the envy of the campsite. Bound by strict quality standards, it's officially licensed by Volkswagen. You'll find out when you use it that it's worth the money.

Replica 1965 T1 Campervan Built to Scale

Built to be the actual size of a 1965 T1 VW Campervan, this tent sleeps four very comfortably. Just as you can an actual VW bus, you can stand up in this tent. The tent is made up of two different parts. The tent's "outer shell", which is the print of the VW Van, fits snugly over the frame, which is made mostly of the typical bendable tent poles with inner elastic string. This comes in handy when you need a quick shelter as the shell will protect you from the elements while setting up the inner tent.

As opposed to the outer "shell", the inner tent is completely enclosed and uses a tarp material to protect campers from ground moisture. The sides and top of the inner tent have straps and clips allowing the user to clip it to the tent-pole frame in order to hold it in place and keep its shape.

There is also a center fly sheet with a zipper down the middle, which acts as a privacy wall. This feature is great for couples who like privacy while sleeping and to use half the tent as a dressing room during the daytime.

The tent is an exact, 1:1 scale replica of a 1965 T1 Volkswagen Campervan. Like an original VW van, the side doors open up allowing for easy access to the inner tent. It measures, fully erect, roughly 10 feet in length by 3 feet in width. It is designed to sleep four adults very comfortably. It packs up into a compact case and weighs roughly 28 pounds.
