People like to hear about nursing short stories because they always have drama within them. These are the hospital tales that will keep many individuals in suspense and they are never boring. Young women who take care of the sick and injured are the true angels on this planet. They do not mind giving a sponge bath to any stranger.
Many years ago a woman who lived in the United States decided that she would venture into this medical profession. All of her life she had taken care of her brothers and sisters who had all grown into intelligent human beings. After finishing college she felt that it was only natural for her to gain employment with the local hospital as a caretaker.
One major hospital had processed her application rather fast since they were so impressed with her skills. They had high hopes for her and this is one reason why she was placed with the hardest physician. This was a man who had been in the profession for years and he took no nonsense from any of his workers. He could also be very sadistic at times.
Many nights this young lass went home in tears because of the things that were said to her. The doctor would sometimes call her bad names and made her feel very unworthy. She had decided to still continue on her job and cope with this man. As the days went on she discovered that this evil doctor was angry at the world because of his personal tragedies. His wife died suddenly and his dear son had died in an accident.
Time would go by slowly as the two of them worked side by side with many ill people. They were able to bond with each other during their lunch and dinner breaks in the hospital cafeteria. Whenever they were together it seemed as if everyone else just disappeared.
It really surprised this young medical woman when this gruff and sometimes difficult doctor asked her out on a date. She was very reluctant at first since the two of them were colleagues and it might cause gossip around the hospital. This smart woman told him "no" the first two times that he asked but on his third try she said "yes".
Weeks would roll by as the two individuals would go on more and more dates. Each date was even better than the previous one which made this woman very happy. It was also wonderful that the man of her dreams was by her side for many hours each day. She loved it when other workers would compare them to "Romeo and Juliet". Instead of eating lunch on their breaks the duo would make passionate love.
This was one of the many nursing short stories that did not end well for the sexual couple. It was discovered later on that his wife was not deceased after all and he had never had any children. Fortunately his wife would get her revenge against this wicked sex crazed liar. While the handsome doctor and his lovely new girlfriend were making explicit love in a closet at the hospital his wife showed up and shot them both dead.
