Family Friendly Exciting Family Vacations

For those individuals who are considering a holiday break, whether it is a family holiday, a getaway for 2 or a honeymoon, there are few locations (countries) like Cape Town in SA. In the summertime it is the best choice for any kind of vacation and for anyone, young and old alike, simply because the summer period is agreeable to everybody. In this posting we will tell you about only a handful of the things that you or the whole family can and will enjoy, so keep reading if you are keen.

Let's suppose for a minute that you are a family of four; mother, dad and 2 children, a boy (seventeen) and girl (fifteen). Let's not forget the malls where all the pretty girls hang out. Holidays to Cape Town is a spectacular selection to keep everyone happy for the period of your stay.

Now that we have the children squared away, what's left for mom and dad? Well, there is the V&A waterfront where you can check-out the aquarium, have lunch at a few of the awesome restaurants in Cape Town like Mariners Warf, Quay Four, where by the way, mom and dad can return come night time to delight in wonderful dinner and live music while sipping their favorite cocktail overlooking the shimmer that changes the V&A in the evening. Absolutely nothing wrong with that!

Now let's say it's only the 2 of you, and Cape Town is waiting! What do you do now? Visit the city center and check out the Cape Gardens. There you can purchase bags of peanuts and feed the squirrels while strolling through the lovely garden, possibly pause and sit under some of the very first oak trees in Cape Town, or even see the natural history museum and find out all about the genuine natives from way back in the day. The gardens are likewise a fantastic family outing.

An additional stunning, virtually paradise sense location to see, is in Kirstenbosch. The Kirstenbosch Gardens are magnificent and enormous. Trees all over, open scenery with lush green lawns where you can picnic. Simply walking along the walkways is a terrific experience. There are plaques scattered all over providing you the history of the location and relevance of various points. It's a beautifully serene location. And when you feel a bit famished (and have actually forgotten to pack a picnic lunch), there is a restaurant on the grounds where you can sit and enjoy the stunning view.

And for a bit of fun , why not follow the wine route? Stop off at every estate along the way and sample a few of the very best wines on the planet and enjoy the cheese plates they provide as an accompaniment.

There is just so much to do and things to see in Cape Town, that it is impossible to put it all down in a single post. It will simply make you wish for more, so make plans for more future Cape Town vacations!
