Data storage capacity is large as even moving objects can be monitored. The image resolution is very high and the majority of cameras have a wavelength of eight to twelve micrometers, which is quite long. Issues that are not visible to the naked eye can easily be seen.

There is a frequent improvement for cameras and they become more and more portable. A system can be used to store hundred of images, while audio notes can also be recorded. The angle of particular cameras could be wider, but this is a matter of choosing between different manufacturers. Laser pointers could be applied on a thermal image. Some displays are actually touchscreens and this can lead to easier data entry.

Different color palettes exist and they could be changed for fitting the requirements. Final results may be displayed in multiple forms.
