Discovering Agistri Island

By Frank Jaeger

There are several small islands in the vicinity of Greece, none as unique and exceptional as the Agistri Island Greece.

It is a sparsely populated island, free of the human elements; untouched and pure, which is also preserved in the busy tourist season during the summer. Due to the fact that the Island is very close to Agina Island and Piraeus, you can visit the Island easy by boat.. It boasts of numerous modern hotels that please and satisfy tourists from around the world with different backgrounds. Many of these hotels are also catered by private beaches, creating an atmosphere unlike any other.

Agistri Beaches

There are many beaches on the island however they are all different in features and other aspects.

Most beaches have facilities available, for example vendor stalls that rent out sun beds, umbrellas and sell food and drinks for the comfort of tourists. Others may be more secluded, like the nudist Chalikiada Beach on the Agistri Island without any commercial services.

In retrospect, one should always try to learn more about intended destinations, so inconveniences can be avoided.

An ideal choice for families would be the Megalochori or the Mylos Beach as it has plenty of family activities available, and is popular amongst all sorts of tourists.

Agistri Hotels

Accommodation on Agistri Island takes various forms, as there are plenty of small studio, apartments and hotels to choose from. The choice is easier to make once the budget and other priorities have been factored in.

Agistri hotels offer world class facilities although the number of conveniences may vary according to the cost per night the hotel charges, but everyboday will find a hotel that fits to his needs..

Some families may wish to rent out suites rather than single rooms in Agistri Island, and there are many hotels that offer bigger spaces than a bedroom

Other amenities may include private eating areas and equipped kitchens, such as by the Yialos Studio on the greek Island of Agistri.
