Uzi Tactical Defender Pens are smart designs which cater to a certain degree of personal protection, yet they continue to be a perfectly legal item to carry with you. However, some more obvious designs are still picked up by airport terminal security. Many tactical pens can be a bit excessive in terms of cost, but if you want to protect your bank account as well as yourself, then the Uzi Tactical Defender Pens are a fantastic option. They are increasingly affordable however they still offer a selection of useful features.
In general, tactical pens are more of a novelty than a reliable method of self-defence. The price reflects this and most people will be more than happy to buy an Uzi Pen as a silly extra bit of kit rather than a sure fire method of self-defence. It will create a good amount of concentrated force, and if this is applied to the right body part then this could prove to be quite effective. However it doesn't look particularly threatening and if somebody saw you with it they wouldn't be particularly nervous! My top tip is that you should only get your defender pen out if you are actually willing to use it. Otherwise you will just look a bit daft!
The pen function isn't necessarily the best design, although I have never had any issues myself some people have complained about the ink cartridges. Some people even complain about the number of times the pen needs to be twisted to retract the nib but this is a little over the top and doesn't need to be mentioned. As if that matters. You get used to it! It's a lot easier than losing a lid, and with other features built into the end of the pens you can't really have one with a push top. Uzi Pens offer great value for money and I am quite happy to turn the pen a few more times to write with it.
Regardless of the criticisms, the Uzi Tactical Pens I have used are exceedingly tough and well-made. There is clear quality from the materials utilised and I was actually quite pleased with the high quality with regards to the affordable price. Quite a few have interesting additional features and yet the price still doesn't escalate by silly amounts.
There are lots of different styles of Uzi Pen. Some offer self-defence as mentioned previously. Some have a hidden handcuff key whilst others have glass breakers on the tip. I've tried to figure out when this would come in handy. I suppose in some police or security positions then having this at your fingertips would be reassuring if not useful. It's good to know whichever features you're looking for, Uzi pens have an option for you.
