Backpacking has always been a great way to experience different cultures and places. Conducting such an activity in China would in fact be a great eye opener to the culture of the Asian people. Before embarking on such a tour however, you have to have a little information about the area.

While in the course of travel, the goal usually is that of experiencing every new aspect of the location in question. One advantage of visiting large cities is that one gets to experience this and more. Such locations normally boast of exciting places and cultures that may teach one a few things.

Within this area is the Arhat temple. In this temple is a number of terracotta Arhats that you may enjoy viewing. A visit here could just help you appreciate more the culture of the Asian people more than any other part of this travel experience.

A visit to the Chaotianmen Park would guarantee great sights and sounds if one is up to it. While strolling around the square, one could get a beer and try out a local snack. The goal here is to experience the city to its fullest, thus one should not be hesitant to try out new things.

It is a fact that this massive city houses the biggest toilet complex in the world. One only has to see the complex to be awed by the magnitude of it. And, it would be really awesome to visit this place and later on brag about the whole experience to friends long after the tour is over.

The goal of tours of this magnitude is experiencing every aspect of the region in question. As a backpacker, this means that one must see both the old and new versions of cities and cultures. In this regard, a visit to the 18 steps ought to be contemplated.

By touring across this city, you would also be contributing to the local tourism sector, which is a great thing. A tour of the Yangtze River for example usually costs 5RMB. This may seem meager but in the long run, these rates do much to improve the economy of the region.

The Foreigner Street located on the edges of the city would also be a great place to see. This location may not be stated in a travel guide but this does not mean it is not worth paying attention to. While here, one may experience Chinese delicacies at nearby restaurants.
