Transporting Wall Decorations

Specify around the label that there is glass inside the box for additional fragile handling.

Things that have been shown on wall hanging shelves are probably delicate naturally. These need to be properly packed by covering them in tiers of cloth or bubble wrap, then kept in a safe box with other fragile items. Mark these as glass and fragile for added safety.

The shelves themselves pose a challenge to many that are relocating. Shelves in many cases are oddly shaped, with delicate decorative edges that really must be protected. The best way to keep shelves safe would be to carefully take them off from other wall, with great interest to the hardware that you simply disassemble in the act. Place small parts in a zipper top baggie and tape this to the underside of the shelf. The shelf should then be engrossed in cloth or bubble wrap to maintain it safe, and placed snugly in a box for transport by movers.
